WILLEMSTAD – Minister of Finance Javier Silvania (MFK) has received an official request from the head of the Curaçao Customs Department to allow the sale of decommissioned service vehicles to customs employees. The minister shared the update on his official Facebook page.
The request concerns vehicles that are no longer in use within the department. According to Silvania, the proposal is currently under review by the relevant authorities.
Once a final decision is made, it will be formally communicated to the public.
The initiative could offer a cost-effective benefit to public servants while enabling the government to repurpose aging fleet vehicles.
