WILLEMSTAD - The final report of the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee on Hospital Nobo Otrobanda (HNO) will be presented to Parliament on Thursday. The report is based on the committee’s hearings and pertains to the construction of the Curaçao Medical Center.
The Parliamentary Inquiry Committee HNO will hold a press conference on Thursday afternoon to present the final report.
Parliament has approved an extension of the inquiry committee’s term until October 14 of this year. The delay occurred because representatives of two construction companies still needed to be heard. These companies played a significant role in the construction of the hospital but were initially unwilling to participate in the parliamentary inquiry.
The investigation was supposed to be completed by the end of April, with the original goal of presenting the final document to Parliament by the end of May.
