WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao Football Federation (FFK) has launched a new campaign calling on fans to show their support for the national football team following its historic qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The campaign, titled “Demostrá e Kurason Blou” (“Show Your Blue Heart”), aims to unite supporters on the island and abroad in celebrating and backing the team.

Fans are encouraged to participate by wearing official team merchandise, sharing messages of support on social media, and contributing to the development of youth football on the island.

Several well-known figures with ties to Curaçao have already joined the campaign, including Jörgen Raymann, Churandy Martina, Tania Kross, and Jandino Asporaat. They are helping to promote pride in the national team and the island.

FFK president Gilbert Martina said the World Cup qualification demonstrates what can be achieved through perseverance and teamwork. He added that the campaign is also intended to inspire young people. “By showing our ‘Kurason Blou,’ we want to show youth that they can dream big,” he said.

As part of the initiative, official merchandise such as jerseys, caps, scarves, and flags is being made available through Voetbalshop.nl and soon at Sambil Shopping Centre.

Proceeds from merchandise sales will be reinvested into local football development, including youth programs, women’s football, and community-based projects, ensuring that the national team’s success also benefits future generations.
