WILLEMSTAD - As of yesterday, only one resident of Curaçao has registered with the Directorate of Foreign Relations, indicating that they are currently in Israel or Lebanon. This information was reported by the Directorate. It is suspected that more individuals are present in these two countries.
Due to the threat of war, the government is urging all Curaçao residents in Israel and Lebanon to register as soon as possible at the Kingdom’s embassies in Tel Aviv and Beirut and to leave these countries at the earliest opportunity.
The Directorate of Foreign Relations (DBB) states that it currently has no visibility into the registration process with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. According to the service, it is important for people to always register when traveling abroad by visiting this link, downloading the BZ Travel App from here, and following the travel advice applicable to their destination.
