Ferry Dock in Otrobanda Temporarily Closed for Maintenance; Boarding Point Moved

Local | By Correspondent November 26, 2025

WILLEMSTAD - The ferry dock in Otrobanda is temporarily out of service due to necessary maintenance work, the Curaçao Ports Authority (CPA) announced today. During this period, passengers will board and disembark a few meters further down the same side of the St. Anna Bay.

The ferry service is an important link for pedestrians moving quickly between Punda and Otrobanda, especially when the Queen Emma Bridge (pontjesbrug) is closed to allow ships to enter or exit the harbor. According to CPA, the temporary shift in the boarding location will not cause additional delays.

CPA is asking all travelers for understanding and cooperation while the maintenance work is underway.
