WILLEMSTAD - A 32-year-old man died on Thursday evening in a traffic accident, according to the Curaçao Police Force on Sunday.
The accident occurred on Serapio A. Pinedo Road in the Pannenkoek district. Upon arrival at the scene of the accident, the police found a lifeless man behind the wheel of his car. Another occupant was seriously injured.
Police investigations indicate that a woman drove out of a side street and entered Serapio A. Pinedo Road without giving way to the car coming from Soto and heading towards Fontein. As a result, the woman collided with the man's car.
The injured individuals were transported by ambulance to the Curaçao Medical Center. The Traffic Department is investigating the accident.
