WILLEMSTAD - A family argument in Dein escalated into violence Monday evening, leaving two people injured with stab wounds. The incident was confirmed Tuesday by the Curaçao Police Force (KPC) in an official press release.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found both victims suffering from multiple injuries on different parts of their bodies. The victims were transported by ambulance to the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) for further medical treatment.
Police arrested a 50-year-old suspect at the scene. He has been placed in custody pending further investigation into the circumstances surrounding the violent altercation.
The KPC continues to gather information to determine the exact sequence of events that led to the stabbing.
