WILLEMSTAD - A campaign for safe sex will also be held during the 50th edition of Carnival.

Famia Plania (Planned Family) will hand out condoms during the various parades which will be all in February. Figures show that during the carnival period there is an increase in the number of unwanted pregnancies and venereal diseases.

The campaign is called: "Sin pèchi, NO ta drenta!", which loosely translated means “you will NOT get in without a condom”.
