WILLEMSTAD - Epidemiologist Izzy Gerstenbluth announced yesterday that KLM's flight that came from Amsterdam to Curaçao on Sunday did not contain people infected with the COVID-19 virus. On social media, there were reports that several people with corona infection were on the plane.
Dr. Gerstenbluth explained yesterday that a group of three people wanted to come to Curaçao to attend a funeral. One of them tested inconclusive and was not permitted to board the plane. The other two tested negative and were permitted to fly. They will be monitored in Curaçao and they must always wear a face mask.
