WILLEMSTAD – Extensive checks will be conducted during the celebrations of King's Day this coming Saturday, according to Ronny Cornelis of the Ministry of MEO’s multidisciplinary inspection team.
Cornelis stated that there are expected to be more than 300 stalls in Punda and Otrobanda on King’s Day. The MEO team will be inspecting whether all vendors operating during the festivities have the necessary permits. They will also ensure that the prices of all products are clearly displayed.
“This is the only way to ensure a fair situation for everyone,” Cornelis emphasized, adding that he hopes all participants will adhere to the regulations during the celebration.
