WILLEMSTAD – Curaçao’s new immigration policy includes a transition arrangement to protect individuals who already hold multi-year residence permits.
Applicants who previously received permits valid for two, three, or five years will be eligible to retain the same duration upon renewal, provided they submit their extension requests on time.
However, authorities warn that this right will be lost if the renewal application is submitted after the grace period has expired, emphasizing the importance of timely compliance.
