May 30: Final Deadline to Apply for BESTLIFE2030
WILLEMSTAD – The EU Desk Curaçao (part of the Ministry of Economic Development) reminds all organizations involved in nature conservation, biodiversity, and climate change that the application deadline for the BESTLIFE2030 program is fast approaching — May 30.
BESTLIFE2030 is an initiative funded by the European Union (EU) that provides grants for projects focusing on climate action and biodiversity in the EU’s Overseas Countries and Territories (OCTs), which includes Curaçao.
Non-governmental organizations (NGOs), local governments, and research institutions are eligible to apply for funding under BESTLIFE2030. Interested entities are invited to submit project proposals addressing the following areas:
Biodiversity protection
Ecosystem restoration
Sustainable use of natural resources
Climate adaptation and resilience
Each project can receive up to EUR 100,000 in funding.
The EU Desk Curaçao encourages all eligible organizations to take advantage of this unique opportunity and submit project proposals that offer concrete, local solutions to the challenges of climate change and biodiversity loss.
