WILLEMSTAD - Skateboarding is officially an Olympic sport from the Tokyo 2020 Olympics in July-August.

To celebrate this, Flipside Skatepark organized several events in Scherpenheuvel since last weekend.

Three professional skaters have come to Curaçao, including our own Shajen Willems, to give workshops and demonstrations in schools, parking lots and in the skate park. They show the youth what you can achieve in life with skating, falling and getting up again. They are here with their own film crew so that they can show the rest of the world what Curaçao has to offer in the field of skateboarding.
