WILLEMSTAD - The man who last year stabbed the 61-year-old Albert Bremer and severely mutilated him at Baya Beach has received a prison sentence of 8 years and must be interned in the Forensic Psychiatric Center (TBS) with compulsory treatment.

The public prosecutor had demanded 22 years, but the judge considered the sentence with TBS compulsory treatment enough to protect society. Where the convict must undergo the TBS treatment is not clear. Curaçao does not have a TBS clinic.
