WILLEMSTAD – The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport (OWCS), in close collaboration with the management of Stichting Skol Humanista na Papiamentu, and in consultation with Victim Support Services and the committee responsible for administering the Final Primary Education Test (EFO), has decided to postpone the EFO at Erasmo College on May 13 and 14, 2025. 

This decision is an exception made due to a tragic incident at the school earlier today, during which a student fell ill while taking the EFO and later passed away at CMC. The situation has had a profound impact on the entire school community. The postponement was made with the understanding that every student participating in the EFO must be emotionally balanced in order to take the exam under the best possible conditions. 

The Ministry of OWCS is also calling on all parents and guardians to remain calm and to pay close attention to the health and well-being of students during this period of final exams and the EFO.
