WILLEMSTAD - On Friday, November 7, 2025, Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency Mauritsz de Kort, Governor of Curaçao.

Also present at the meeting were Joost van Deutekom, Foreign Affairs and Defense Advisor at the Dutch Ministry of General Affairs, and Gerbert Kunst, Representative of the Netherlands in Aruba, Curaçao, and Sint Maarten.

The discussions focused on the current political situation, defense cooperation, and collaboration within the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Prime Minister Schoof also congratulated Governor De Kort on his recent appointment, expressing his confidence in a constructive and positive working relationship in the period ahead.
