Dutch Parliament Delegation Meets with Governor During Working Visit to Curaçao

WILLEMSTADOn Tuesday, May 6, 2025, a delegation from the Dutch House of Representatives’ Standing Committee on Kingdom Relations paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Curaçao, Her Excellency Lucille George-Wout. 

During their visit, the Dutch parliamentarians are scheduled to tour the island’s oil refinery and the naval and coast guard bases. They will also engage in discussions on key issues such as poverty, climate change, and the legacy of slavery. 

Also present at the meeting was Ms. Saskia de Reuver, Acting Representative of the Netherlands in Aruba, Curaçao, and Sint Maarten.
