WILLEMSTAD - The Education Executive Agency (DUO) will again visit Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao and Sint Maarten in November. DUO will open a temporary service office on the islands to talk to prospective students and former students.
The visit is a follow-up to DUO's stay on the islands at the end of last year and this spring. In addition to the service office, DUO will also organize information meetings and offer tailor-made assistance with payment problems.
During the meetings, they hear everything about student finance and other matters that they have to arrange in the Netherlands. Information meetings are also held for former students. This includes an explanation of the options for local repayment and what to do in case of payment problems.
Interested parties can visit the temporary service offices, it is not necessary to make an appointment. Former students must bring proof of identity. DUO is from October 31 to November 4 in Sint Maarten, from November 7 to 18 in Aruba, from November 14 to 18 on Bonaire and from November 21 to December 9 in Curaçao.
