WILLEMSTAD - A lawsuit against a 34-year-old man from St Maarten was held recently after new evidence was presented at the hearing.

The suspect had wanted to smuggle 13 kilos of cocaine to Sint Maarten, but during the hearing he showed a copy of the passport of the man who had given him the drugs.

Why the suspect did not do so during the police investigation, but only in court is unknown.
