WILLEMSTAD – As part of the planned renovation of the Kleinhofje wastewater treatment plant, the Ministry of Traffic, Transportation, and Urban Planning is utilizing drone footage. From December 16 to 29, aerial images will be captured of the areas surrounding Julianadorp, Jandoret, and Kleinhofje.

The Kleinhofje treatment plant plays a vital role in purifying wastewater for the surrounding neighborhoods. The ministry aims to increase operational capacity and reduce environmental impact through the renovation. Certified pilots will conduct the drone operations, and the footage will be used strictly for technical purposes. The ministry assures residents and area users that privacy laws will be respected. Recordings will be limited to essential zones and will comply with all legal regulations for drone usage.
