WILLEMSTAD - The way in which passports and driver's licenses are organized at the Registrar’s Office is susceptible to fraud and abuse. That is what the Court of Audit says.

In 2018, 4.5 million guilders were spent on it, but the question is whether that money ended up in the right place. That cannot be checked because the departments are not well organized.

The minister responsible for this organization, Minister Armin Konket is looking into the matter and will announce the next step soon.
