WILLEMSTAD - Stichting Studiefinanciering Curacao, SSC, the education loan institute, starts with a discount for student loans. Curaçao student gets a hundred percent discount on the interest of their student loan.

The promotion runs until June 30 and involves about 5000 students. In total, this involves an amount of nine million guilders.

According to main customer contact of SSC Juliette Chirino-Mendez, previous actions that encouraged students and ex-students to pay off their student debt were very successful. There are already reactions to this new campaign.

The SSC is trying to get more funds to help new students with their education.
