Digital Naturalization Exams Planned for Curaçao in 2025

WILLEMSTAD - In a significant development for aspiring citizens of Curaçao, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports has officially released the schedule for the 2025 Naturalization Exams. These examinations are integral for individuals seeking Curaçaoan citizenship and will be conducted entirely digitally. 

Three-Part Examination 

The exam consists of three distinct sections: 

Part 1: Knowledge of Curaçao’s Political Organization and Community 

Part 2: Proficiency in Papiamentu (speaking, reading, writing, and listening) 

Part 3: Proficiency in Dutch (speaking, reading, writing, and listening) 

Detailed Timeline 

Registration Period: Announcements regarding the registration process will begin on February 3, 2025, through various platforms, including the websites www.ete.cw and www.gobiernu.cw, as well as local newspapers. 

Exam Schedule: Testing spans from August 19 to September 19, 2025, with specific dates for each part and language skill. 

Results and Certification: Exam results will be published on October 21, 2025, with certification ceremonies set for November 25, 2025.
