Digital Literary Platform Patruli Literario Officially Launched

WILLEMSTAD - The digital literary platform Patruli Literario has been officially launched. This new initiative aims to promote literary creativity in Papiamentu, Dutch, English, and Spanish by writers originating from the CAS-BES islands (Curaçao, Aruba, Sint Maarten - Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, Saba) and their diaspora in the Netherlands.

The platform is designed to provide an accessible space for both established and emerging authors, offering room for poetry, prose, essays, and visual forms of literature.

The name “Patruli” refers to a path not yet fully discovered, symbolizing the creative process and the author's personal journey.

"The platform encourages writers to explore and share their own literary routes beyond traditional literary structures," the founders stated.

Patruli Literario seeks to build a vibrant, diverse community where writers can freely express themselves and connect with readers across languages and cultures.
