Then, she was given a tour of the Community and Locos de la Vela museums. Subsequently, they headed to the facilities of the Dinastía Hotel where there was an exhibition of art by local artist and cultor Leonel Vera, along with a tasting of typical sweets from Venezuela and the Falcon region.
Yoselys López emphasized feeling honored that a special agenda had been developed for the Chamber of Commerce and Tourism of La Vela de Coro within the itinerary carried out in the state, by this representative of the Dutch Embassy. This demonstrates the work that has been carried out by the Chamber for more than 3 years, being pioneers in linking the Chambers of Commerce of the ABC islands with the business community in Venezuela.

Juan Gotopo, Vice President of the organization, mentioned that according to historical records by the Chronicler of La Vela, Licenciado Luis Ramos, this would be the second official visit by a representative of the Dutch government to La Vela de Coro, since the first one took place in 1974, on the occasion of the inauguration of Antillean Square, as a symbol of friendship between Holland and Venezuela.
He also indicated that there was a presentation of the exports through the Port of La Vela to the islands of Aruba and Curaçao, and a proposal for the dynamization of commercial exchange through the establishment of a Holland House in Venezuela.
Gotopo concluded that the high-level visit took place a few days before the first anniversary of the reopening of the border between Venezuela and the islands, which demonstrates the importance of the Port of La Vela de Coro for the bilateral relations of these two countries.
