WILLEMSTAD – A diploma ceremony recently took place for six prison staff members who completed the company emergency response (BHV) course for team leaders at the Curaçao Detention and Correction Center. This course, facilitated by Integrated B.V., comprised both theoretical and practical components and concluded with a test. During the course, participants learned how to respond to fires, the evacuation process, and key considerations for a BHV team in a prison setting.

At the ceremony, several figures addressed the attendees: Mr. Howard Boelijn, the BHV coordinator at the prison; Security Chief Mr. Robert Provence; Acting Director Mr. Anthony Hasselmeijer; and Mrs. Raquel Maduro, representing Integrated B.V. Additionally, nurse Emma Hernando, head of the medical department, highlighted the importance of BHV in the institution. Management is extremely pleased with the course results and is confident that, should a calamity or dangerous situation arise, the institution now has certified personnel ready to act.
