WILLEMSTAD – Dutch Defense is again a number of snipers richer. The snipers of the Marine Corps have had an intensive period, during which all skills and drills were trained in various areas of Curaçao.
Currently, there is no official training for long-range shooters. It is diligently sought after. Until then, the men have to make do with the twelve-week training on Curaçao, among others.
The skills and drills can help them participate in future sniper training or education. According to the Ministry of Defense, the average level is usually so high that men need a stepping stone. This is a good start, according to Defense.
From taking out targets at a great distance, to moving unseen through difficult impassable terrain, the training involved several challenging aspects for the candidate snipers. The snipers end up in various positions within Defense where they can perform their duties.
