WILLEMSTAD - C-Post, the government-owned postal company, is set to receive relief from its substantial tax debts. Minister Cooper initiated the request for debt forgiveness, given C-Post's staggering 20-million tax liability. This decision comes in the wake of the company's ten years of financial losses, which rendered it incapable of fulfilling its tax obligations.
Finance Minister Javier Silvania officially confirmed this development. However, there are stipulated conditions tied to this debt relief, most notably, C-Post must refrain from accumulating any new tax debts.
