WILLEMSTAD - The Ministry of Traffic, Transport, and Spatial Planning (VVRP) and the multidisciplinary team of Prekario Karnaval have announced that the registration period for obtaining permits for stands and stages along the Carnival 2025 route has been extended until January 10, according to the Curaçao government. This extension applies to those who require a permit to place a stand or stage. 

The office hours of the Prekario team will be adjusted from Monday, December 30, to Friday, January 3, and will reopen on January 6. During the week of January 6 to 10, existing clients can schedule their appointments at the office located at Plasa Horacio Hoyer 19. Appointments will be available from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM. 

Individuals who are listed as the primary or secondary name on their permit can visit the office to complete their registration. Clients must bring a valid ID for verification. 

New clients wishing to be placed on the waitlist for a spot along the Carnival route can register through the waiting list. The deadline for waitlist registration is also January 6.
