WILLEMSTAD - The results of the Dutch parliamentary elections’ postal votes from Curaçao have been officially certified. According to the official records from the postal voting bureau at the University of Curaçao (UoC), D66 emerged as the clear winner, securing 293 votes.

The VVD followed in second place with 216 votes, while GroenLinks/PvdA came in third with 205 votes. The CDA received 124 votes, and the PVV ranked fifth with 110 votes.

In total, 1,202 voters were admitted to vote—representing 75 percent of all registered voters. There was no discrepancy between the number of admitted voters and the number of ballots counted. Seven ballots were declared invalid, while two were counted as blank.

According to the official report, no objections or irregularities were noted during the voting and counting process, which took place between October 22 and 29 at the University of Curaçao.

The results reflect the continued engagement of Curaçao-based voters in the Dutch national elections, where residents with Dutch citizenship can participate by postal vote.
