PHILIPSBURG - During the Islandpreneur 2023 event held on the 29th and 30th of June at the Simpson Bay Resort in Sint Maarten, Curaçao-based FinTech company CX Pay unveiled the demo version of its SEN Payment app and website. Developed with the support of the Ministry of Finance of Sint Maarten, this e-wallet solution addresses the needs of many individuals not only on the island but also across the region.
Since 2019, CX Pay has actively sought to incorporate an e-wallet into its product and service portfolio. Attendees at the event were given an exclusive first look at the solution and were encouraged to download the app and explore its demo version.

CX Pay expresses its gratitude to Mr. Ardwell Irion, the Minister of Finance of Sint Maarten, for placing trust in CX Pay as the partner to introduce this innovative solution to the island. Furthermore, Sint Maarten is the first in the Dutch Caribbean to provide its population with digital financial services through this collaboration.
Operated by CX PayMe, the SEN wallet offers unique features tailored to meet the needs of all users. These features include Scheduled Payments, Group Payments, Request Payments, Dark Mode, and more. The initial version is in Beta Mode for a few weeks, allowing participants to provide feedback. Once fully launched, SEN will enable users to top up funds through tokenized solutions with cards and bank transfers. All funds will be securely settled in an Escrow account held with a local partner bank.
Over the next 6-8 months, CX Pay plans to add more features and products to SEN, fulfilling the long-awaited solution that many in the Dutch Caribbean have been seeking. SEN caters to both the banked and unbanked communities. Additionally, for those who prefer accessing the e-wallet through a computer screen rather than a smartphone, CX PayMe's SEN can be conveniently accessed via a web portal with the same login credentials, offering the same features as the mobile app.
