WILLEMSTAD – Following complaints from local residents about unpleasant odors during the venting of fuel storage tanks, fuel distributor Curoil is taking action by installing filters.
Residents of Ser’i Otrobanda have been forced to leave their homes at times due to the strong smell, especially when there is little wind. To address this issue, filters will be installed on the vent pipes of the tanks in September. The Fundashon Ser’i Otrobanda has been informed about these measures.
“The new filters are designed to block oil odors without interfering with the necessary venting of the fuel tanks,” said Curoil.
This action aims to improve the living conditions of residents and reduce the nuisance caused by the fuel venting process.
