WILLEMSTAD – Curoil has taken a significant step in strengthening its position in the Caribbean with the launch of its new bunker vessel, Frontera. The ship, capable of storing seven different types of fuel products, represents a major expansion of the company’s distribution capacity across the region.
According to Curoil CEO Yamil Lasten, the investment is a milestone that reflects four decades of perseverance and growth since the company's founding in 1985, following the departure of Shell from Curaçao.
“Despite challenges such as market volatility and international competition, Curoil has grown into a reliable player with clients in more than sixty ports,” said Lasten.
The introduction of Frontera not only boosts Curoil’s operational capabilities but also reaffirms its long-term commitment to providing reliable energy solutions throughout the Caribbean maritime sector.
