VREDENBERG - For the sixth consecutive year, ADC N.V. organized its ADC BIOSCH Awards, where they honor graduating students from VSBO, HAVO, and VWO who achieved the highest grades in Biology and Chemistry, subjects that form the foundation for studies and careers in the laboratory sciences.

On July 3rd, the top-performing students in Biology and Chemistry from VSBO, HAVO, and VWO exam classes were invited to the laboratory along with their parents and subject teachers to receive their ‘ADC BIOSCH Award’. Out of the nine participating secondary schools, seven students were recognized, including a tie between two students.
Through the presentation of the ADC BIOSCH Award, our national laboratory acknowledges and encourages the young people who have excelled in Biology and Chemistry, which are key and highly valuable subjects in the laboratory field. ADC encourages these young individuals to continue developing and expanding their knowledge in these areas so they can contribute to our country or at an international level.
This year, ADC approached various companies with whom they regularly collaborate to also reward the students for their outstanding achievements. ADC expresses gratitude to Ralfmed International B.V., Karakol N.V., and Boolchand’s for their contributions.
Together in this manner, we are investing in the local youth to keep encouraging them to choose these important subjects.
We are looking forward to the next BIOSCH award, which will be the seventh edition. ADC reminds all secondary schools to participate. Students in the exam classes of VSBO, HAVO, and VWO are also encouraged to give their best in the coming school year so that they too may have the chance to win the ADC BIOSCH Award in 2025.
