WILLEMSTAD – The Ministry of Health, Environment, and Nature (GMN) announced yesterday that a private meeting had been held with stakeholders from Playa Lagun to present a revised development plan for the beach. The initial design, presented last year, received significant criticism from the public. According to the ministry, adjustments were made to the new design based on community feedback and concerns. The revised plan will be presented to the public next week.
In a brief press release, the ministry stated, "It is important to note that the majority of stakeholders are satisfied with and support the revised design. The GMN is confident that the adjusted plan will contribute to an inclusive and sustainable Playa Lagun, suitable for both residents and visitors, while preserving its organic identity for future generations."
