WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao's Ministry of Finance has released information about the tax revenues for the month of February, expressing satisfaction with the results. The ministry highlighted that both the January and February revenues are on track, including both tax and premium collections. In the first two months of the year, tax revenues exceeded expectations by 600,000 guilders, while premium revenues showed a surplus of 7.2 million guilders.
The increase compared to 2024 is mainly driven by sales tax (up by NAf 9.4 million) and corporate income tax (up by NAf 4.9 million). Customs revenues, specifically from sales tax on imports, have also risen, from 26.8 million guilders in 2024 to 27.5 million guilders in 2025.
