WILLEMSTAD - The Bureau for Intellectual Property of Curaçao (BIP) has introduced a new competition called "Conquer Patent Search," in which six local high schools will compete against each other.
The competition aims to enhance students' understanding of patents and the importance of intellectual property. Participants will receive guidance from BIP and learn how to use freely accessible patent databases to complete their tasks.
Students are required to submit their assignments by November 1, after which a panel of experts will review and assess their work. The winners will be announced on November 19 during the Global Entrepreneurship Week.
