WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao baseball team has had a good year. The team has risen to place 33 in the world ranking. That is a climb of 11 places. This makes Curaçao one of the biggest risers.
Japan is number 1. The Kingdom team, in which many Curaçaoans also play, has risen one place and is now in seventh place. The world rankings are published annually by the World Baseball Softball Confederation.
