WILLEMSTAD - After almost a year, three Curaçaoans have been released from Venezuela. It concerns contractor Andre Snijders of Dick & Doof Contractors and the two employees Isidro Da Costa Gomez and Sergei Paulus Rojer.
The judge has decided to allow the three men to return to Curaçao. The contractor company started working with a large group of Venezuelans last year. The men had 157 Venezuelan passports in their suitcase and were therefore arrested.
The Curaçao embassy has made several attempts in the past year to get the men back to the island, but without success. The influence of the Netherlands would have helped their case.
