WILLEMSTAD - In Brazil, a Curaçaoan has been arrested for large-scale drug trafficking. The Brazilian news program Jornal da Record extensively covered the dismantling of the network and the arrest of multiple suspects earlier this week.
The individual is a 45-year-old man. Seven mobile phones were found during his arrest, from which the police could gather a lot of information. To obtain more information, an agent infiltrated the criminal organization and collaborated with them for a year, ultimately resulting in the arrest of the Curaçaoan suspect.
According to the head of the Federal Police in Brazil, the Curaçaoan is part of the criminal organization 'Primeiro Comando da Capita,' one of the largest criminal organizations in the South American country, which primarily focuses on drug trafficking.
The Curaçaoan is alleged to be a member of the Curaçaoan gang 'No Limit Soldiers' and to purchase cocaine from Venezuela and Colombia for shipments to Europe.
