WILLEMSTAD – The national women’s football team of Curaçao has begun preparations for a key World Cup qualifying match against Aruba, with the squad now officially announced.
The match will take place on Monday, April 13 at 8:00 p.m. at the Stadion Rignaal Jean Francisca and forms part of the CONCACAF Women Qualifiers. It will be Curaçao’s third game in the qualifying campaign, increasing the importance of securing a positive result as the team pushes for further advancement.

According to the Federashon Futbòl Kòrsou, several international players are expected to arrive on the island this week to join the squad. The team is led by head coach Johan van Heertum, supported by a full technical and medical staff.
The selection features a mix of players from the local league and internationals competing at clubs in Europe, including the Netherlands and Germany. The federation has deliberately opted for a balanced squad that combines local talent with international experience.
With qualification at stake, the upcoming match against Aruba is seen as a decisive moment in Curaçao’s campaign.
