Curaçao Wellness Association Showcases Sector Milestones During Curaçao Export Week 2025

WILLEMSTAD – Earlier today, the Curaçao Wellness Association (CWA) hosted a dynamic session titled “Curaçao’s Wellness Sector: Moving Forward!” as part of Curaçao Export Week 2025. Held at the Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort, the event convened a diverse audience of wellness professionals, entrepreneurs, and key stakeholders to explore Curaçao’s growing potential as a wellness destination in the Caribbean region.

Led by CWA Board Members Ms. Nancy N. Rodrigues Pereira and
Ms. Maria-Helena Seferina-Rojas, both recognized champions of sustainable wellness development, the session offered a compelling look at the sector’s achievements and future opportunities. The presentation highlighted Curaçao’s distinct advantages for developing a robust wellness economy—grounded in innovation, collaboration, and the empowerment of local communities.

Throughout the event, participants engaged in thoughtful dialogue around strategic partnerships, the importance of cultivating local talent, and expanding the access to wellness services for all residents and visitors. The energy in the room reflected a shared vision for Curaçao as a thriving wellness destination.

“We were truly inspired by the engagement and enthusiasm from all attendees. The discussions reaffirmed that Curaçao is well-positioned to emerge as a regional leader in wellness,” said Nancy N. Rodrigues Pereira.

Ms. Seferina-Rojas emphasized that the wellness offering of Curaçao is no modern invention, it an ancient legacy. “Our mission, through this Wellness Association, is to honor that legacy. To represent the entire wellness sector of Curaçao—from traditional healing to modern practices—and to position Curaçao again, as a sanctuary for health, balance, and inner peace”.

The Curaçao Wellness Association extends its sincere gratitude to all participants, partners, and supporters who contributed to the success of this milestone event. As CWA continues to build momentum, it remains committed to advancing Curaçao’s wellness ecosystem through unity, visibility, and strategic action.

CWA hereby thanks its Strategic Partner ADC Laboratory Services for their presentation during this session, as well as the Ministry of Economic Development (MEO) for the opportunity to organize this session during Curaçao Export Week 2025.
