WILLEMSTAD – Curaçao’s vehicle inspection service has inaugurated a modernized office for inspectors as part of efforts to improve working conditions and provide better service to motorists.
The renovated facility was officially opened last Friday and will be used by the vehicle inspectors responsible for determining whether cars and other vehicles meet the requirements to operate safely on Curaçao’s roads.
Vehicle inspections play an important role in road safety by checking whether vehicles are in adequate technical condition before they are approved for use on public roads.
The modernization provides inspectors with an improved working environment from which they can carry out their responsibilities and assist members of the public.
According to the government, the investment in the inspection facility is intended to contribute to better and more efficient service for Curaçao residents.
The upgraded office comes at a time when road safety remains an important issue on the island, with authorities continuing to emphasize both responsible driving and the importance of maintaining vehicles in safe operating condition.
