Curaçao Tax Office Moves to Newly Renovated Building on Regentesselaan

WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao Tax Office will officially reopen its doors on Tuesday at a newly renovated building on Regentesselaan, according to a press release from the Ministry of Finance. The move marks a new chapter for the department, which had been operating temporarily from the World Trade Center (WTC) since 2022.

The relocation follows the devastating fire that destroyed the former tax office building two years ago. That arson attack caused significant damage, rendering the building unusable and destroying numerous archives.

Starting Tuesday, customers can visit the new location on Regentesselaan for all tax-related services. Opening hours remain unchanged: Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM.

Temporary Adjustments at WTC Location

Due to the move, there will be adjusted opening hours at the WTC location prior to the transition. On Friday, the office will be open only in the morning, and on Monday, the office will be completely closed. The government is asking the public to take these changes into account when planning visits.

The Ministry of Finance says the relocation to a modern and fully restored facility is intended to improve public service and working conditions for staff.
