Curaçao Tax and Premium Revenues Exceed Budget by Nearly 85 Million Guilders

WILLEMSTAD – Curaçao’s tax and premium revenues have exceeded the budget by nearly 85 million Antillean guilders as of last month. Tax revenues are 4.4% higher than expected, with a nearly 40 million guilder increase, while premium revenues have surpassed expectations by more than 8.5%, exceeding 45 million guilders.

Strong Growth in Sales and Profit Taxes

The strongest growth is seen in sales and profit taxes. Sales tax has risen by over 34 million guilders compared to the same period in 2024, while profit tax saw an increase of nearly 20 million guilders, according to Amigoe. These figures suggest a positive economic trend for Curaçao, with higher-than-anticipated tax collections indicating a strong performance in these sectors.
