WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao is no longer the owner of the refinery and Bullenbaai. An agreement was reached yesterday between the government-owned Refineria di Kòrsou, Curaçao Refinery (RdK) and the Swiss company Klesch Group.

Klesch Group will operate the Isla refinery and oil storage in Bullenbaai starting next year.

The details of the acquisition are not yet known, not even the price that the Swiss company will pay. An agreement has yet to be reached on the role of PdVSA until the acquisition by Klesch.
