WILLEMSTAD - The port authorities in Curaçao have recently started research into the consequences of climate change for the ports of Curaçao. Next Thursday, experts from the Dutch Climate Adaptation Services Foundation will give a lecture about this research.

In the lecture on Climate Adaptation Services, an explanation is given about the possible dangers, effects, and risks of climate change for the ports of Curaçao and what extreme weather situations Curaçao can expect in the short and medium term.

Information is also provided about the Climate Impact Atlas that the foundation has made for the Dutch situation together with various parties, and the lessons they have learned from this.

The presentation will be in English and will take place on Thursday, November 10 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Aula of the University of Curaçao.
