WILLEMSTAD – The Parliament of Curaçao has denied recent media reports suggesting that irregularities have been uncovered in the financial documentation of delegation trips managed through Kas di Kòrsou, Curaçao’s official representation in the Netherlands. In a press release issued today, the Parliament firmly rejected these claims. 

According to the statement, no formal investigation has been launched based on the information received from the Netherlands. The documents submitted by Kas di Kòrsou are, according to Parliament, solely intended to help create a more realistic travel budget for future delegations. 

The Parliament emphasized that its internal budgetary process is ongoing, and that any additional questions or clarifications will be pursued through the appropriate official channels if needed. 

This statement comes amid rising political tension following media speculation about possible financial mismanagement related to official trips abroad. The Parliament insists it is fully committed to transparency and responsible financial planning, and that recent reports are based on misinterpretation or misinformation.
