WILLEMSTAD - On Monday, February 17, 2020, the Curaçao Police Force (KPC) arrested a 26-year-old Curaçao soldier in the act in connection with involvement in committing document forgery.

Due to the fact that the suspect is a soldier, the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee (KMar) in Curaçao has taken over the criminal investigation.

Under the leadership of the Public Prosecution Service, the KMar has since initiated a follow-up investigation and has also arrested a 21-year-old Curaçao soldier on Tuesday 18 February for involvement in the same crime. Both suspects have since been placed behind bars.
