WILLEMSTAD – Ajax has signed a multimillion-euro deal with sponsor Rockstars IT. For approximately €2 million per year, Rockstars IT will have its logo featured on the sleeve of the Amsterdam club’s shirt, Ajax announced. While Curaçao's logo will be removed from the shirt this summer, the island will extend its sponsorship deal with the club until 2027.
In 2020, Curaçao secured a major sponsorship agreement with Ajax, the 36-time Dutch champions. Over a three-year period, the island’s name was prominently displayed on the shirt sleeve—a spot previously unused for sponsor logos. Curaçao was also featured on billboards around the field. This initial deal was extended by another two years.
The current agreement is set to expire in the summer of 2025. Curaçao will enter into a new sponsorship deal, though its logo will no longer appear on the shirt. Instead, the island will maintain its presence through advertising, such as billboards around the field. The financial terms of the new agreement have not been disclosed.
